Curt Witte, President & CEO
Mr. Witte is responsible for the company’s direction, strategic management and global expansion. Mr. Witte has a proven track record in software, internet services, and communications with over 20 years of experience, from scaling start-up ventures by over 14x to running $10 billion Fortune 50 lines of business with specific experience in marketing, sales, product management, and finance. He has specialized experience including rapid turnaround of major businesses, enterprise scaling and transformation, commercialization of complex new technologies, product development, sales channel reengineering and early stage venture capital fundraising. Mr. Witte has held senior management positions at leading companies including: AT&T (NYSE: T), Cardinal Health (NYSE: CAH), Lexington Financial Partners, Peopleclick and Firm58. Mr. Witte graduated from the University of Chicago with a degree in Economics and was a Rothschild Scholar at the J.L. Kellogg Graduate School of Management at Northwestern University where he received an MBA.
Jason Kerr, Founder & CTO
Mr Kerr has until recently, been responsible for the company’s technical direction, strategic management and global expansion, and over the past several years he has directed his thinking and expertise to radically changing the failing job-board model and creating a powerful new paradigm of automated high-quality anonymous job matching. In June 2009, Kerr replaced himself as President & CEO and brought in Curt Witte as the new President & CEO for QuietAgent, with a directive to take the company from R&D into commercial revenue generating mode. Prior to founding QuietAgent in 2000, Kerr was the CEO and founder of Forte Solutions Limited, a software development company that developed logistical support and management software for the global regional airline market. The company had a 60% market share in Asia-Pacific when it was sold to Accenture in 2005. Earlier in his career, Kerr co-founded Forte Communications which designed, developed and patented the first SMS text messaging platform allowing two-way text messages to be sent to and from mobile devices and the Internet. In 1997, he led the successful sale of that business to Telecom Wireless Solutions of Atlanta (predecessor to BellSouth). Also during his career, Kerr founded and successfully floated a voice-video-email technology onto the secondary London stock exchange, the AIM.
Gary Scheier, Co-Founder & VP Business Development
Mr. Scheier manages the U.S. Government sales as well as being responsible for capital-raising and the general corporate affairs of the company. Mr. Scheier was responsible for establishing the company in the U.S. and securing its equity and debt financing. From 1997 to 2002 Mr. Scheier was VP of Business Development and later President of Telecom Wireless Solutions, an Atlanta-based company providing engineering services to the wireless telecommunications industry. From 1991 to 1997, Mr. Scheier was a partner at Weiss, Peck & Greer, where he was co-founder of their Quantitative Equity Division.
Brian Gelber, Gelber Group
Mr. Gelber serves as Chairman of the Board and President of Gelber Group, LLC, a Chicago-based financial firm that provides futures brokerage and clearing services. Mr. Gelber began his career as a broker, managing a major brokerage firm’s financial futures operations on the floor of the Chicago Board of Trade. After successfully advising institutional clients, he began trading for his own account. In the early days of the T-bond futures trading, Gelber enjoyed the dual distinction of being one of the most (if not the most) prominent brokers on the floor and one of the largest local traders. Mr. Gelber was employed by Price Waterhouse from 1978 to 1980 and Thomson McKinnon Securities from 1980 to 1982. He graduated from Northwestern University in 1978.
Thomas Tisdale, Peopleclick.com
Mr. Tisdale has over 20 years of sales and business development experience in the technology arena, and is a seasoned business development and strategy executive, with experience in partner and channel development. Prior to joining Peopleclick, Mr. Tisdale was the Director of Sales and Partner Development at Seagate Software Network Management where he led the company from a direct sales to a leveraged channel model. His efforts in sales development and partner strategy contributed to a 25% growth in business for the company. Mr. Tisdale has also held key sales positions at Wall Data and Information Builders. As SVP of Strategic Initiatives for Peoplclick, Mr. Tisdale is responsible for international expansion strategy and activities and has been instrumental in growing Peopleclick from one customer to 2,300, and developing international business channels. Mr. Tisdale has a Bachelor of Science degree in Industrial Engineering and Operations Research from Virginia Tech.
